The Nigeria Immigration Service has enrolled 8,552 Nigerians in passport intervention exercises conducted in the United States, Canada, Qatar and the United Kingdom. The NIS disclosed this in a statement signed by its Service Public Relations Officer, DCI Akinsola Akinlabi, on Monday. According to the statement, the exercises, undertaken in line with the directive of the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, were part of efforts to improve passport service delivery to Nigerians in the diaspora and to bring passport services closer to Nigerians living in the diaspora. BOI The Bank of Industry (BOI), through BOI Financing SPV Plc, has raised N250 billion through a five year fixed rate bond, providing additional long term funding for productive activities in the Nigerian economy. The Series 1 bond, issued under the BOI Financing SPV Plc’s $1 billion Multi Currency Instruments Programme, was offered to investors between August 5 and 11, 2026.
