The American gospel music star, Kirk Franklin, surprised worshippers after calling on Nigerian gospel singer Mercy Chinwo to stage during the International Gospel Music Festival, where the duo delivered an electrifying performance.

According to videos from the event, which have since gone viral on social media, captured the pair leading the audience in worship, drawing loud cheers from attendees.
While sharing clips from the performance on her Facebook page on Sunday, Mercy Chinwo described the experience as a privilege and thanked God for the impact of the event.
“What a glorious time we had today at the International Gospel Music Festival,” she wrote.
“It was such an honour to share this moment with the incredibly gifted Kirk Franklin. Grateful for every life touched, every heart lifted in worship, and every moment spent in God’s presence.”
She added, “To God alone be all the glory.”
