Entrepreneur Dabota Lawson has finalized a significant financing agreement with Woodhall Capital International to expand her beauty brand, Dabota Cosmetics, into international markets. The partnership is supported by the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) and is aimed at scaling production, distribution, and brand visibility globally.
Speaking on the deal, Lawson stated, “This partnership represents a major milestone for Dabota Cosmetics. Our goal has always been to share African beauty and innovation with the world, and this financing allows us to take that vision to a global audience.”
Representatives from Woodhall Capital International emphasized their commitment to supporting African entrepreneurs with high-growth potential. “We are thrilled to collaborate with Dabota Lawson, whose brand combines creativity, quality, and a strong business vision. We believe the international market is ready for Dabota Cosmetics,” a spokesperson said.
Afreximbank highlighted its support as part of its broader mandate to promote African businesses on the global stage. “Financing initiatives like this demonstrate our commitment to empowering African women-led businesses and helping them access international markets,” the bank noted.
Dabota Cosmetics plans to leverage the funding to expand its product line, enhance supply chain operations, and launch marketing campaigns targeting key global regions. Lawson confirmed that the brand will also continue to celebrate African culture and aesthetics, ensuring its products reflect both heritage and modern beauty trends.
