We Commemorate 20 Years Since Pastor Bimbo Odukoya’s Passing ~ Fountain of Life Church

The Fountain of Life Church in Ilupeju, Lagos, will host a National Legacy Service on December 6 to honor the memory of its late co-founder, Pastor Bimbo Odukoya, two decades after her tragic death.
Themed “20 Years On… Her Life. Her Impact. Her Legacy,” the commemorative event marks the approaching 20th anniversary of Pastor Odukoya’s death on December 10, 2005, following the devastating Sosoliso Airlines Flight 1145 crash in Port Harcourt.
The ill-fated aircraft, departing from Abuja, crashed while landing at Port Harcourt International Airport, claiming numerous lives including students from Loyola Jesuit College and other passengers. Pastor Odukoya, who was 45, succumbed to injuries from the disaster.
According to church officials, the service will celebrate her enduring contributions through the Single and Married Ministry, her published works, television programs, and conferences that impacted audiences both within Nigeria and internationally.
The program will feature the premiere of a documentary tribute containing archival footage, her teachings, and exclusive interviews.
Additionally, the church will launch a Legacy Gallery Exhibition showcasing pivotal moments from her life, ministry achievements, inspirational quotes, and preserved photographs.
The event will also highlight the #MyPastorBimboStory initiative, featuring testimonials submitted by individuals across Nigeria and the diaspora whose lives were transformed by her ministry. Selected submissions will be integrated into the documentary and shared during the service.
The gathering will include worship sessions, reflections, and contributions from ministers, leaders, and others who worked alongside Pastor Odukoya.
The Legacy Service takes place at The Fountain of Life Church, 12 Industrial Estate Road, Ilupeju, Lagos, with attendance available both in person and via live streaming on YouTube and Facebook.
