Nigerian billionaire entrepreneur Folorunso Alakija has been ranked the second richest woman in Africa, according to the latest ranking by Forbes, reaffirming her status as one of the continent’s most influential business figures.

Notably, South Africa had the highest representation on the list, with six women making the cut, underscoring the country’s strong presence in the continent’s business landscape.
