The first Lady has praised the Benue state Governor Hyacinth Alia for his visionary leadership and commitment to delivering dividends of democracy to the people of Benue State
Nigeria’s first Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu touches down at the Makurdi Airport at about 12pm and was received rousingly by the State Governor Hyacinth Alia and the residents.
She then procceds to Commission 10 township roads within Makurdi the State capital noting that the projects is a demonstration of the practical implementation of the renewed hope agenda of Mr President to better the lives and livelihood of the people of the country.
She encouraged the people of Benue state to take ownership of the roads.
State Governor Hyacinth Alia appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his commitment to improving infrastructure across Nigeria.
Gov Alia noted that the event is not just a celebration of achievement adding that the renewed hope agenda of President Tinubu has continued to inspire the efforts of his administration to deliver dividends of democracy to the people of Benue .
The Benue state Governor however assures the commitment of his government to prudent Management of public resources and implementing projects that directly impact the lives of the people.
The Director civil engineering ministry of works and urban development Tirfa Wombo and other party chieftains speak on the impact of the projects to Benue people.
The first lady then proceeded to Ihugh Vandeikya Local Government area where she performed the commissioning and hand over ceremony of the Community ICT Centre.
