The Nigerian Air Force disclosed this in a statement shared on its official social media page on Thursday.
The programme was organised by the Office of the First Lady under the RHI Social Investment Programme to provide financial support to families of personnel who “paid the ultimate price in service to the nation.”
According to the statement, Aneke said continued support for the families of fallen heroes “reflects the nation’s appreciation of their sacrifices” and reinforces the government’s commitment to the welfare and wellbeing of those they left behind.
The CAS joined other senior military and security leaders at the event, which focused on supporting widows of personnel who died in service to Nigeria.
