Arsenal have reportedly secured more than £122 million in UEFA prize money after booking a place in the 2026 UEFA Champions League final.
The North London club boosted their earnings with an additional £16 million reward following their semi-final triumph over Atlético Madrid, sealing qualification for the final scheduled to take place in Budapest on May 30.
The massive payout comes from several revenue streams introduced under UEFA’s revamped Champions League format for the 2025/26 season. Arsenal’s earnings reportedly include participation fees, league-phase performance bonuses, value pillar distributions, and rewards for progressing through the knockout rounds.
Their estimated breakdown includes over £16 million for participation, roughly £35 million from league-phase results, about £32 million from UEFA’s value pillar payments, and further bonuses for reaching the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final.
Should Arsenal go on to win the competition against either Bayern Munich or Paris Saint-Germain, the club would receive another £5.6 million in prize money.
Victory in the final would also guarantee a place in the UEFA Super Cup, bringing an additional financial reward worth more than £3 million, with extra bonuses available for winning that fixture as well.
Reports suggest Arsenal’s total European earnings for the campaign could rise to nearly £129 million if they lift the trophy, potentially making it one of the most lucrative seasons in the club’s history.
The financial boost is expected to strengthen Arsenal’s position ahead of the summer transfer window, giving manager Mikel Arteta greater flexibility under football’s Profitability and Sustainability Rules as the club prepares for further squad investment.
