Osimhen Bags Serie A Best Striker Award
Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen has been named the best striker in the Italian Serie A for the 2022/23 season.
Osimhen has enjoyed a phenomenal campaign with Napoli. The Nigerian striker is currently enjoying his best campaign in his career with 30 goals across all competitions.
The 24-year-old goal poacher has hit 25 goals in the Serie A, dominating the league’s goalscorers’ charts.
Also, Osimhen has written his name in Serie A history, smashing Samuel Eto’o and George Weah’s records. He currently holds the record for the most goals by an African in a single Serie A season. Osimhen is also the highest-scoring striker in Serie A history.
The former Lille man has won the Serie A Player of the Month multiple times already, but he has now added another award to his cabinet.
Osimhen has been named the Best Striker for the 2022/23 season. He was nominated alongside Inter Milan star Lautaro Martinez and AC Rafael Leah.
