It was a historic night for the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon as they won their first-ever Women’s Africa Cup of Nations title in Rabat on Sunday.
They defeated Malawi 3-0, courtesy of a brace from Ngah Manga and another goal from 21-year-old midfielder Naomi Eto.
According to information obtained from the official X handle of CAF Women Football on Sunday, below is the list of the award winners at the TotalEnergies WAFCON 2026 tourney:

Cameroon, who had previously lost four WAFCON finals — 1991, 2004, 2014 and 2016 — now become the fourth nation to win the continental title after Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea and South Africa.
The Scorchers had relied heavily on sisters Tabitha and Temwa Chawinga throughout their impressive run to the final, but the pair were kept largely quiet.

Although the debutant couldn’t lay their hands on the silverware, the team, however, qualified for their first-ever World Cup and reached their first-ever WAFCON final.
The champions will join Malawi, Algeria and Morocco at the 2027 Women’s FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
