Globacom, Nigeria’s indigenous telecommunications giant, has marked its 23rd anniversary with a new campaign encouraging Nigerians to pursue better opportunities, quality and value rather than settle for less.

The campaign, tagged “Never Settle for Less,” highlights the resilience of Nigerians and Globacom’s long-standing focus on innovation, customer service and value delivery.

According to the company, the campaign is designed to remind Nigerians that adapting to challenges should not mean accepting less than they deserve. It encourages consumers to continue pursuing their ambitions and seeking experiences that offer genuine satisfaction.

As part of the anniversary activities, Globacom unveiled a number of new products and enhanced services aimed at giving subscribers greater value.

One of the new offerings is the Welcome Bonus, which provides new Glo customers with benefits worth N2,100, including 20 minutes of calls to all networks, 2GB of data and a one-month GloTV Premium subscription after purchasing and activating a new Glo SIM.

The company also introduced the enhanced Glo TalkMasta “6 for 6 Reloaded” tariff. Subscribers continue to receive six free call minutes, while the data bonus has been increased from 50MB to 100MB for every six minutes of talk. Existing customers can migrate to the plan by dialing *606#.

Another major offering is the Magic Data Bundle, available at N1,600 and N3,500. The bundles provide guaranteed data allowances alongside additional bonus data, with customers able to purchase them through the Glo Café App or by dialing *312#.

Globacom also unveiled a redesigned Glo Café App, featuring new security and payment options as well as Gloria, an artificial intelligence-powered voice and text assistant. Gloria can respond to customer enquiries and identify suitable offers in English, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, French and Spanish.

The telecommunications company said its latest initiatives build on a history of innovations that have shaped Nigeria’s telecom industry, including per-second billing, data-sharing services, investment in submarine cable infrastructure and the early deployment of 4G LTE technology.

Globacom has also operated customer-reward programmes such as Festival of Joy, Joy Unlimited Extravaganza and My Own Don Beta, through which subscribers have won various prizes, including houses, cars, cash and other valuable items.

The company said its anniversary campaign reflects its broader commitment to innovation, digital inclusion and improved customer experience, while encouraging Nigerians to continue striving for greater achievements.

Globacom added that its innovation hub and digital literacy programmes support young innovators, entrepreneurs, software developers and technology enthusiasts through training, mentorship and skills development.

The “Never Settle for Less” message, the company said, represents the determination of Nigerians to keep moving forward, creating opportunities and pursuing progress despite challenges.
