Cristiano Ronaldo expresses self as Portugal emerges victorious against Scotland

Portugal’s captain, Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed satisfaction following his team’s Nations League victory against Scotland on Sunday.

Portugal’s goals came from Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes, while Scotland’s only goal was scored by Scott McTominay in Lisbon.

It should be recalled that Portugal came from behind to defeat Scotland 2-1 at the weekend.

Before facing Scotland, Ronaldo guided Portugal to a 2-1 victory over Croatia.

Portugal’s next game is against Poland in October.

In a post-game tweet on X, the Al Nassr forward expressed gratitude to Portugal fans for their support.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner wrote: “Two games, two wins. Thanks for all the support, Portugal!”
