At Promise Land Festival, Asake, Rema, Omah Lay to headline in Australia
The Nigerian music stars, Rema, Asake and Omah Lay will be headlining the 2024 Promise Land festival in Australia.
They will join other international singers to thrill the audience at the Promise Land Festival set for October 4, 5 and 6 2024, at Gold Coast.
Rema is billed to perform at the international festival on October 5th alongside American singers, Jorja Smith, Fiji and Miguel.
While Omah Lay and Asake will perform on the closing date alongside Busta Rhymes. The music bands Compozers, Sarz, Seyi Vibez, Tiwa Savage, Victony, Ruger, BNXN and Shallipopi are also going to take the stage.
The heavy presence of Afrobeats stars on the lineup is a testament to the genre’s global rise that has Nigerian stars win notable awards and grace the stage of some of the world’s biggest music festivals.
In 2023, Afrobeats made a giant stride in global recognition after it inspired the creation of the Grammy Best African Music Performance category with South African sensation Tyla being the maiden winner.
