    The 82nd Golden Globe Awards promise to be a dazzling celebration of cinematic and television excellence, honouring the standout productions and performances of 2024.

    Set to take place at the iconic Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California, the ceremony will air live on CBS on 5 January 2025, with acclaimed comedian Nikki Glaser taking centre stage as host.

    The awards ceremony will commence at 5:00 p.m. PST / 8pm EST, offering viewers a front-row seat to one of Hollywood’s most prestigious nights.

    Fans in Nigeria, the broadcast will kick off at 2am WAT on 6 January 2025.

    While CBS and Paramount+ are the primary broadcasters, Nigerian viewers are encouraged to check local listings for availability to avoid missing the star-studded affair.

    This year’s Golden Globes stand out not only for their glamorous return but also for making history with record-breaking nominations, as fans noted, reacting to the flash on Sunday via X.

    This year’s Golden Globes mark a pivotal moment for Hollywood, signalling a comeback after previous controversies. With Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner returning as executive producers alongside Dick Clark Productions, viewers can expect a meticulously crafted evening filled with emotional acceptance speeches, surprise winners, and unforgettable moments.
