The National APC Christian Leaders Forum of Nigeria (NACLFON) has made an announcement of its forthcoming South-West Summit, a strategic gathering designed to bridge the gap between spiritual stewardship and transformative governance.
The event, scheduled for February 24, 2026, at the Nigeria Police College, Ikeja, Lagos, will convene prominent Christian leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders under the theme:
”Divine Mandate for Political Reformation of Renewed Hope Agenda.”
The summit represents a significant milestone in NACLFON’s ongoing mission to mobilize Christian leaders within the All Progressives Congress (APC) for active, values-driven participation in nation-building.
It seeks to boost robust dialogue on how faith-based ethical principles can be harnessed to strengthen President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” agenda, ensuring that governance reforms are anchored in integrity, accountability, and service to humanity.
His Excellency, Governor Babajide Olusola Aduragbemi Sanwo-Olu, the Executive Governor of Lagos State, will grace the occasion as the Special Guest of Honour, underscoring the summit’s significance within the South-West political and ecclesiastical landscape.

A Platform for Ethical Leadership and National Progress
The South-West Summit is designed as a high-level interactive forum where Christian leaders will engage with political officeholders, technocrats, and civil society actors on the practical application of biblical stewardship in public office.
Discussions will centre on redefining political participation as a divine calling, promoting transparent governance, and reinforcing the role of the Church as a moral compass in Nigeria’s democratic journey.
Speaking ahead of the summit, the South-West Coordinator, Prof. Adebayo Adeniji JP, emphasized the timeliness of the gathering.
“This summit is not merely a conference; it is a clarion call. We believe that the transformation Nigeria seeks will be driven by leaders who recognize that political authority is a trust from God. Our theme reflects our conviction that the Renewed Hope Agenda must be undergirded by spiritual reformation and ethical renaissance,” he stated.
Dr. Olatunji Oluwadamilare, Host State Coordinator for Lagos, added:
“We are honoured to host this historic gathering in Lagos. The South-West remains a vital bastion of progressive politics, and we are committed to ensuring that Christian voices are not just heard but are influential in shaping policies that reflect justice, equity, and compassion.”
