Unilever Nigeria Plc has reported a profit after tax of N32.199 billion for the full year 2025, driven by strong revenue growth and improved operational efficiency. This was contained in the Company’s audited financial results for the year ended December 31, 2025 released on the Nigerian Exchange Limited. While Nigeria’s deepening electricity crisis persists, the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu has stated that the federal government was moving to tackle the persistent gas shortages constraining generation. Electricity distribution company, Ikeja Electric, has attributed the ongoing reduction in electricity supply to a nationwide decline in power generation caused by limited gas supply to thermal power plants.
