Billboard chart: Tems, Burna Boy hit multiple entries

Afrobeats stars Tems and Burna Boy have made history after becoming the African artistes with the highest number of entries on the Billboard U.S. Hot 100 chart.

Tems has now recorded three Billboard Hot 100 entries in 2026 alone, making her the African artiste with the most entries on the chart this year. She had earlier become the first African female artiste to reach seven Hot 100 entries, tying with Burna Boy and Seether before the latest record.
Burna Boy also extended his own record as the first African artiste to appear on the Billboard Hot 100 for six consecutive years, from 2021 to 2026.
His previous charting songs include Loved By You (2021), Last Last (2022), Sittin’ On Top Of The World and Talibans II (2023), Just Like Me and We Pray (2024), WGFT (2025), and now Only You (2026).
