Elenu Lasisi leverages on intertribal marriage, “I sold one of my organs to pay my wife’s brideprice’

Lasisi Elenu and his fiancee, Nonso Adika

Popular comedian Lasisi Elenu has jumped on a trending video with his wife, Nonso revealing their intertribal marriage.

This particular trends features people saying words that start with “of course I’m … “while stating a particular trait that represents what they are.

Lasisi and his wife took to this challenge excitedly leveraging their intertribal marriage as the topic of conversation.

Lasisi revealed that one major sign that he is married to an Igbo woman is that he has to pay an exorbitant amount of bride price to get married to her.

In his words he stated, “I married an Igbo woman from Mabise, I had to sell one of my organs to pay her bride price”.

His wife, equally humorously contributed to the banter by highlighting a common trait of Yoruba men – their love for using iru (locust beans) in cooking.

“Of course I’m married to a Yoruba man, I use iru to cook everything even eggs”, she said.
