Fashions Finest Africa has officially unveiled Epic Fashion Week 2026, a rebranded and expanded version of its former “Epic Show,” set to take place from May 22 to 24 at The Podium Lekki in Lagos.
The three-day fashion event will spotlight 50 designers from across Africa, but this year’s edition goes beyond runway glamour. Organizers say the focus has shifted toward building a structured business ecosystem designed to help emerging creatives scale beyond local markets and compete globally.
At the heart of the 2026 edition is a strategic push for industry sustainability, funding access, and market readiness. Through curated showcases, networking sessions, and investor-facing opportunities, designers will be equipped not just to display their work, but to transform their brands into viable, export-ready businesses.
According to the organizers, the rebrand to “Epic Fashion Week” reflects a broader ambition: positioning Africa’s fashion industry as a serious player in the global creative economy. The initiative aims to bridge long-standing gaps between talent and capital while fostering innovation rooted in African identity.
With Lagos continuing to cement its reputation as a cultural and fashion capital, Epic Fashion Week 2026 is expected to draw buyers, media, and industry stakeholders from across the continent and beyond—making it one of the most anticipated fashion events on the African calendar this year.
