Tamunosoye Karibi-George

Newly crowned Miss World Nigeria 2026, Tamunosoye Karibi-George, has arrived in Vietnam to represent Nigeria at the ongoing 73rd Miss World Festival.

The 26-year-old model from Port Harcourt is among contestants competing at the international pageant, where she is expected to showcase Nigeria’s culture and heritage on the global stage.

Karibi-George is a graduate of Madonna University, Okija, and an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).

She has previous international pageantry experience, having won Miss Africa International 2024 in Accra, Ghana, before clinching the Miss World Nigeria crown.

Beyond pageantry, Karibi-George works as a model, voice-over artist, event host, scriptwriter, singer, actress and entrepreneur.

She is also the founder of Beyond Labels, an initiative focused on inclusion, dignity and empowerment for children with special needs.

The beauty queen has attracted attention with her poised appearance and confident demeanour since arriving in Vietnam.

Representing Nigeria at the global contest, Karibi-George brings experience in pageantry alongside interests in entertainment, entrepreneurship and social advocacy.

Her participation continues Nigeria’s presence at one of the world’s major international beauty pageants, with fans and supporters across the country backing her campaign as the competition goes on.
