Beyond Motivations and Prophecies- 3

By Idede Oseyande

“Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine”.

Timothy was one of the few people who were privileged to learn directly under Apostle Paul. He did not only learn under him, he was referred to by the Apostle himself as a son.

That means he enjoyed Paul’s prophetic ministrations and the opportunity to be anointed by Paul with a special laying of hands.

Despite all that, Paul instructed him to give attention to reading, and in the second letter to him, he instructed him to study to show himself approved.

This simply means, that beyond the prophetic declaration and the affirmations, you need to play your part to make the prophecies come to reality.

It doesn’t matter who prophesied it or who anointed you, if you do not do what you need to do to make it materialise, nothing will happen.
And that does not in any way increase or diminish the rating of the Prophet or the Motivational Speaker.

The ball is in your court and you have to do with it what you want.

Be responsible for your life and destiny.

Take charge.
