The Place of Timing 3

By: Idede Oseyande

“A right action taken at the wrong time would give a wrong result”

Previously, I wrote about how Moses’ attempt to free the Israelites from slavery was ill-timed according to the divine calendar.

And I made mentioned the fact that the intention though altruistic did not yield a fruitful result as he had anticipated.

In his later years, when he learnt to check with the divine calendar, he understood what it means to follow the manual.

“But I will not drive them out in a single year, because the land would become desolate and the wild animals would multiply and threaten you.

I will drive them out a little at a time until your population has increased enough to take possession of the land.” (NLT)

Here, the divine was now letting Moses understand why he seems to be slow in the eyes of humans because he sees ahead and knows that some blessings would be a curse if it comes at the wrong time.

There are some things you think you are prepared for now that you really can’t handle if you get it now. You can argue it because you don’t have it just yet, but the one that sees the end from the beginning will always act based on his informed position overriding your decision which often is based on short-sightedness.

In your pursuit of success always pay attention to times and seasons. It has a way of affecting your results in many ways than you can imagine.
