Former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Foundation will be honoured among other notable personalities, while the Olu of Warri, His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III, and his wife, Her Majesty Olori Atuwatse III, will serve as Royal Father and Mother of the Day.

The 2026 edition, themed “The Road to 2027: Citizens, Stakeholders, and the Democracy We Choose,” is expected to attract a star-studded gathering of political leaders, traditional rulers, business executives, media personalities, academics and other prominent Nigerians as the country inches towards the 2027 general elections.

Others are Senator Ned Nwoko, former Edo State Governor Adams Oshiomhole, Edo Deputy Governor Dennis Idahosa, constitutional scholar Sam Amadi, and business leader Franklin Nechi, among others.

The organisers said the choice of Uzono and Monique D Vibe reflects the awards’ blend of excellence, entertainment and contemporary media culture, while the event itself will provide a platform to celebrate outstanding Nigerians and stimulate conversations on citizenship, leadership, democracy and national development.

The ceremony, which will be broadcast live on Arise TV and Channels Television, is being produced by Adeniyi Ifetayo, Executive Producer, with Seunmanuel Faleye as Chairman of the Awards Committee.
