    The South African Construction Awards 2024 promises to be an industry cogent moment celebrating 17 years of EXCELLENCE, INNOVATION & ADVANCEMENT.

    Hosted by Hon. Mamoloko Kubayi , Minister for Human Settlements tasked to deliver homes to South African citizens. Since 1994 to 2024 with the Country marking 30 years of democratic independence, almost 5 million houses have been delivered through the Reconstruction and Development Program (RDP) giving homes to about 4.5million citizens.

    The Country has come a long way in providing not only houses but also about 1.1 million serviced sites which are pieces of land with access to water, sanitation and electricity. With strategic and intentional collaborations between government and the private sector, advancing delivery of more homes and growing the construction sector holistically can be expedited.
