The champions Côte d’Ivoire have completed the Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 quarter-final line-up after a dominant 3-0 victory over Burkina Faso on Tuesday night in Marrakesh.
Côte d’Ivoire booked last quarter-final spot, defeating Burkina Faso 3-0.
Goals from Amad Diallo (20’), Yan Diomandé (32’) and a late strike by Bamba Touré (87’) powered the Elephants past the Stallions, as the Ivorians delivered a composed and clinical performance to underline their title credentials.
Diallo starred once again for Côte d’Ivoire, opening the scoring before providing the assist for Diomandé’s second, as the champions took firm control before half-time.
