The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Electoral Committee has unveiled the roadmap for the 2026 Executive Committee elections, with the sale of nomination forms set to begin on Saturday, 1 August.
With the arrangements on ground, the elections will be held on 27 September in Lafia, Nasarawa State, where members of the football body will elect a new Executive Committee to lead the affairs of the federation.
The deadline for the submission of completed forms has been fixed for 12 August.
The Electoral Committee will notify aspirants of any irregularities in their documentation between 13 and 19 August, with the period for regularisation scheduled from 20 to 27 August.
Candidates screening will be conducted between 27 and 30 August, after which the list of successful candidates will be published on 31 August.
Aspirants who fail the screening process will have from 1 to 3 September to lodge appeals, while the Electoral Appeals Committee will hear and determine the appeals between 4 and 10 September.
The final list of cleared candidates will be published between 11 and 12 September, with the official delegates’ list to be released on 13 September.
Approved candidates will be permitted to campaign from 14 to 24 September, ahead of the election on 27 September in Lafia.
The Electoral Committee also announced that the deadline for the submission of election petitions has been fixed for 30 September, bringing the electoral process to a close after the polls.
