Guinness World Record: Kabiru Balogun Charges At Breaking-news For Longest Interview Marathon

Kabiru Balogun charges at breaking-news for longest interview marathon.

Kabiru Balogun, UK-based Nigerian filmmaker well known as Mr Kay, is on the verge of making history as he attempts to break the Guinness World Record for the longest interview marathon by an individual.

With this event taking place in Coventry, England, there’s an addition of international recognition to Mr Kay’s quest, as it brings together the global Nigerian diaspora in support of his efforts. His attempt is not just about breaking a record but also about inspiring others to push their limits and pursue their dreams.

He ventured on this ambitious endeavour on September 2, 2024, with the goal of setting a new record by reaching 120 hours of continuous interviews.

Mr Kay has already impressively completed 48 hours and shows no signs of slowing down. His determination to surpass the current record, held by Nigerian media personality Chizoba Clara Kronborg, who achieved the feat in Marbella, Spain, has captured the attention of many, both in Nigeria and abroad.

Following the official Guinness World Records website, the criteria for the longest interview marathon by an individual involve the interviewee engaging in continuous conversations without a break for the entire duration. Mr. Kay’s attempt to reach 120 hours is not just a test of endurance but also a showcase of his commitment to setting new benchmarks.

The Nigerian filmmaker’s journey towards the 120-hour mark is a testament to human endurance and the relentless pursuit of excellence. If successful, Mr. Kay will not only secure a place in the Guinness World Records but also inspire countless others to reach for higher heights in their endeavours.
