Davido speaks up for Nigeria – the truth!
Nigerian musician Davido has advised other people in the world to experience Nigeria before they create harmful opinions.
Davido said this in an interview with CKO on Monday where he displaced negative stereotypes about Nigeria.
He regarded those stereotypes as misleading while stating that danger can be found globally.
“Everywhere is dangerous! The Congo is dangerous, Benin is dangerous, Paris is dangerous, everywhere is dangerous. Even in Atlanta, you could go somewhere and get shot, so that makes it dangerous. Heck, the world is dangerous and it’s God that protects us,” Davido said.
He also urged people to experience it for themselves instead of relying on the media while stating that the media mostly highlights the negative rather than the positive.
“You heard that it’s dangerous; that’s why you have to visit; you can’t keep hearing. That’s what they do, they show the bad parts. There are so many interesting things to do in Lagos. We have amazing nightlife. I feel like we have the best nightlife in the world,” he said.
The Afrobeats singer also stated that Lagos has one of the best nightlives in the world.
