Tinubu shows up in Benue hospital to see attack victims.

President Bola Tinubu has visited victims of last Friday’s attack by armed herders on Yelwata, in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State.

The attack reportedly claimed over 100 lives.

The patients are recuperating at the Benue State University Teaching Hospital.

Tinubu arrived at the Nigeria Air Force Base Airport in Makurdi at about 12:58 pm on a condolence visit to Benue State.

He was received by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, and the host Governor, Hyacinth Alia.

They were joined by the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Abba Moro, other federal lawmakers from Benue State and the governors of states in the North Central zone, ministers and government appointees.
