Abel Olumuyiwa Enitan
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sworn in Abel Olumuyiwa Enitan as the new Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HoCSF), formally ushering in a new leadership for the federal bureaucracy.
The President administered the oath of office to Enitan at the State House, Abuja, a week after announcing his appointment as the successor to Mrs Didi Esther Walson-Jack.
The Presidency announced Enitan’s appointment on August 19, 2026, with his assumption of office scheduled to take effect on August 27.
President Tinubu received the new Head of Service and his predecessor at the State House on Friday, August 21, as part of preparations for a seamless transition in the leadership of the federal civil service.
His swearing-in formally completes the transition and places him at the helm of the federal civil service, where he is expected to drive the administration’s ongoing public service reforms.
