Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has unveiled plans for a three-night concert at the National Theatre in Iganmu, Lagos, this December.
The singer made the declaration on Friday through his verified Instagram account, revealing that the event, tagged “Oriadè: The Residency,” will take place from December 17 to 19, 2026.
Sharing the announcement, Davido expressed excitement about bringing the celebration back to Lagos as he marks 15 years in the music industry.
“LAGOS!!! We bringing it HOME! 15 years of madness and there’s nowhere I’d rather be,” the singer wrote.
He added that the support he has received from fans around the world has been overwhelming.
The announcement included videos of Davido performing to large crowds, as well as footage showcasing Lagos and the National Theatre.
The three-day residency will form part of activities marking Davido’s 15th anniversary in music. He gained widespread recognition in 2011 following the release of his hit song “Dami Duro” and has since established himself as one of Africa’s most internationally recognised music stars.
Over the years, Davido has released several successful songs, including “Aye,” “If,” and “Fall,” while also collaborating with prominent international artistes.
His performances have attracted large audiences across Africa, Europe and North America, further strengthening his position as one of the leading figures in the global Afrobeats movement.
The December concert will give fans in Lagos an opportunity to celebrate his musical journey and career milestones with him.
