Joeboy Provides Free Danfo Buses For Lagos Residents
Nigerian singer, Joseph Akinwale professionally known as Joeboy, has donated free danfo buses to Lagosians to mitigate the effect of the fuel subsidy removal.
He provided three buses to offer free transportation for commuters to and fro specific axis around the commercial capital.
Joeboy made the announcement through his official Twitter page on Tueday, June 13 accompanied with photos and video of the buses which were branded with the name of his new body of work titled ‘Body and Soul’
The buses will run between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm and ply Iyana Oworo- Lekki/Jakande, Unilag Gate/ Yaba, and Obanlende / Oshodi free of charge for the next three days.
The ‘Baby’ crooner said the initiative was borne out of his genuine desire to help cushion the effect of the biting economic condition occasioned by removal of fuel subsidy.
Joeboy wrote; “I know the fuel subsidy is hard on everyone right now so here’s my little way of helping.
For the next 3 days, there will be FREE Body & Soul buses along the following routes between 8am and 5pm.
