N237M DISBURSEMENT: “DAVIDO IS A BORN PHILANTHROPIST”– BANJOHIFI COMMENDS ARTISTE

    — Davido, Banjohifi

Turkey based Nigerian hip-hop singer, Banjohifi has commended his counterpart in the music industry, Davido for his recent gesture to put smiles on faces of many needy Nigerians.

During a chat with Metropolix Online, Banjohifi applauded Davido saying; “If just 50 Nigerian celebrities should follow this path, life will be better and those who are our fans will be happy. We shouldn’t leave everything to government, being a celebrity shouldn’t be all about displaying your wealth on social media, you should be able to lift others and put smiles on their faces. I must commend Davido no matter how much some critics want to pull him down, Davido is a unique being and God sent to us in this industry .”

Speaking further about his own plan, to Banjohifi said; “I have my own plans to reach out to Nigerians too, this is what we can’t disclose at the moment, and before the year runs out, something great will come from Banjohifi.”

Banjohifi also kudos Davido for giving a whooping $10,000 to the Eko Hotel’s staff who returned $70,000 misplaced by a customer.

The afrobeats singer has donated N237m to some orphanages across the country.

    Banjohifi

“I’ve always wanted to use my platform to serve others.

Thankful that through your generosity, I’ve been able to do so,” he said in a social media post recently.

“We disbursed over N200m to several orphanages in Nigeria, a tradition that started a few years ago around my birthday. Thank you to everyone who donated. With your help, we are changing lives. This is what I mean when I say We rise by lifting others. These are words in action. God bless you all!” Davido said.

In a statement accompanying the post, Davido whose real name is David Adeleke, said the donation was through The David Adeleke Foundation (DAF).

“I am proud to announce that my foundation. The David Adeleke Foundation (DAF), has donated the sum of N237,000,000.00 (Two Hundred and Thirty-Seven Million Naira) to orphanages throughout Nigeria,” the statement added.

However, preparation is in top gear to officially launch Banjohifi’s latest album, African Vibes which has been making waves on Audiomark, Sportify, Boom Play and other popular music platforms.
