The Best of Edo Award, 2023 Planning Committee and its partners are pleased to inform the general public that the 6th edition of the Best of Edo Award has kicked off with modalities and processes leading to the event.
This year’s event is scheduled to hold on Sunday, 3rd September, 2023 at the Victor Uwaifo Creative Event Center, Airport Road, Benin City at 5:00pm and will be streamed live via the official social media page @bestofedoaward and other social media platforms, preparatory to the global celebration of Edo state and it’s distinguished awardees.

Since 2018, the Best of Edo Awards has given out artistic plaques and certificates in recognition of the excellence exhibited by our great Edo achievers locally and globally.
Over the years, our awards have become recognized by institutions, organizations, governments, NGOs et al as a yardstick, a benchmark for excellence. It is widely acceptable and embraced as a credible award platform.
In the press release, the Publicity Director emphasised much about the countdown to the 6th Edition. There was indeed a rush to get men and women of reputable standing nominated into the various outstanding categories. There are those who are movers and shakers of the socio-political landscape, legal icons, business moguls, academia, sports heroes, music and movie stars, media icons and other outstanding classes of achievers. All were voted for.
The timing is right and the atmosphere is palpable with excitement and electricity. The stage is sett with glitz and glam; Edo state has proven to be the melting pot of monumental fest of global reckoning and these Best of Edo Awards is definitely the one.
All hands are on deck to do the needful. The Best of Edo Award will honour the Best of Edo State wherever they are, around the world and this, is our vision, our mission, and we have not been more resolved and surer to honour, whom honour is due.
Dr. Inu Momodu, a Frontline entertainment and media Personality confirmed unequivocally, that the tenacity of the Vision Bearer and Convener of the Best of Edo Award, Paul Ofoni is revolved around the mantra for visibility to Edo state. We will celebrate her gains and achievements in human capital track records and their incredibly monstrous milestones.
