Top 500 chart: Wizkid, Tems keep the light bright on Apple music

Wizkid, Tems keep the light bright on Apple music. 

Nigerian music stars, Temilade Openiyi and Ayodeji Balogun also known as Tems and Wizkid have become the only African artists on the Apple Music‘s Top 500 most streamed songs of all time.

The list which was released to celebrate the platform’s 10th year anniversary, featured Nigerian stars Tems and Wizkid.

Wizkid however, appeared at the top 10 with his 2016 hit with Drake and Kyla, One Dance.

Tems on the other hand was ranked at the 42nd spot with the track ‘Wait for U’ with Drake.

At the top of the list is British singer and songwriter Ed Sheeran with ‘Shape of you’. At the number two spot is the weeknd with ‘Blinding lights’.

Other artists on the top 10 spot are Drake, Post Malone, Travis Scott, Chris Brown. Billie Eilish, Swae Lee and 21 Savage also appeared at the Top 10 of the list.
