16th edition of Face of Edo, 10th edition of face of the world Nigeria Beauty pageant hold in Benin.
The Divine Smiles foundation is one of the most innovative foundation that is nurturing and empowering talented ladies across the country with its yearly pageantry show.
On Wednesday, 3rd of November, 2021, beautiful and well-mannered ladies resumed camp for this year’s event. And this year’s edition is coordinated by the multifaceted designer, Mr. Bayo Adagbe, popularly known as Modela.
In line with this year’s edition, the organizer of the event, Prince Eerik Odigie, of Eerik Entertainment led the ever- gorgeous contestants to the state government house to show appreciation to the good work the state government is doing in promoting tourism and girl-child education among others.
On behalf of the governor, the Chief of Staff, Hon. Iyoha Osaigbovo received the organizer and contestants warmly. He encouraged the foundation for the great work it has been doing in alleviating ladies from poverty.
However, the organizer and the delectable contestants also visited the Esama of Benin, Chief Dr. Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion in his home. He welcomed them wholeheartedly and encouraged the ladies to be the best version of themselves in all ramifications.
Meanwhile, this year edition is proudly dedicated to the memories of Late Captain Hosa Okunbo who was a great supporter of the foundation, and a compassionate leader who gave his best to humanity always as a cerebral philanthropist during his lifetime.
During the first class with the contestants, the founder of foundation, reflected on the life of late Captain Hosa, and he described the late business tycoon as the man of the people.

This year’s edition will take place at Golden tulip in etete, g.r.a Benin City Saturday, 6th, November, 2021 where 20 contestants will slug it out in a contest of Beauty and brain.
