Preparations are in full swing in Lagos for the highly anticipated 100-Hour Youth Link-Up, scheduled to kick off on April 22. The marathon-style gathering is designed to connect Gen-Z fintech founders with key players in Nigeria’s fast-growing creative sector.
Organisers say the 100-hour non-stop event will feature panel discussions, startup showcases, workshops, networking sessions, and collaborative projects aimed at fostering innovation across industries. The initiative seeks to create a space where young entrepreneurs in fintech can exchange ideas with creatives in music, fashion, film, and digital content.
The event comes at a time when Nigeria’s tech and creative ecosystems are increasingly intersecting, with opportunities emerging in areas such as digital payments for content platforms, NFTs, creator monetisation tools, and brand-tech collaborations.
Participants are expected to include startup founders, investors, developers, artists, and influencers, all working together to explore new business models and partnerships. Industry leaders will also provide mentorship and insights into scaling ventures in both local and global markets.
According to organisers, the goal is to empower young innovators by breaking down silos between industries, encouraging cross-sector collaboration, and accelerating the growth of youth-led enterprises.
With Lagos widely regarded as Nigeria’s innovation hub, the event is expected to attract significant attention and could serve as a launchpad for new ideas and partnerships that extend beyond the 100-hour experience.
