Tinubu rejoices with Tunde Folawiyo at 65
* Tinubu praises his effort in job creation and attracting capitals.
President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Chairman and CEO of Yinka Folawiyo Group, Mr Tijani Folawiyo, on his 65th birthday.
In a tribute by the President released on Sunday, Tinubu described Folawiyo as “a beacon of Nigeria’s entrepreneurial excellence and a steadfast advocate for national progress.”
This was contained in a statement signed by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
The President commended the business mogul for his contributions to Nigeria’s economic development through strategic investments in energy, manufacturing, and digital infrastructure.
The President said, “Through these roles, Folawiyo has been instrumental in attracting private capital into Nigeria while empowering countless Nigerians with opportunities to develop skills and excel in a globally competitive economy.”
He also praised Folawiyo’s leadership roles on the boards of key institutions, including MTN Nigeria, Access Bank Plc, Ecobank Mali and Coronation Bank.
