Of particular note, is the return of the stolen Benin artifacts by foreign nations in the wake of the punitive Benin expedition of 1897. On this occasion, it is fitting to join other well meaning Sons and Daughters of the Benin kingdom to assure you that all those who seek to undermine your reign and bring our kingdom to disrepute will be disappointed as your reign will put all detractors to shame.
