Gbenga Daniel Inspects Nigerian Navy Hydrographic Site in Ogun Waterside
Chairman of the Senate Committee on Navy, His Excellency the Senator, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, FNSE, FAEng, led a momentous inspection visit to the untapped Nigerian Navy Hydrographic landed property in Abigi, Ogun Waterside Local Government. In the company of notable figures, including HRH Oba (Engr.) Ogunye, the Ojumotoro of Abigi, and HRH Oba Salami, the Osobia of Makun Omi, as well as various political leaders from Ogun Waterside, Senator Daniel’s delegation aimed to assess the facility’s current state and explore developmental avenues for enhanced naval operations and community engagement.
Senator Daniel, a dedicated advocate for maritime security since assuming the role of Chairman of the Senate Committee on Navy, conveyed his commitment to ensuring the optimal utilization of the untapped Nigerian Navy hydrographic site. He pledged to brief the Chief of Naval Staff on his findings, with plans for a subsequent naval delegation to further assess the site.
