I am the dogged spirit, from the Atlantic to the Pacific,

I am Naija!

I I’m the cultural heritage that confounds the profound,

I am the exuberant spirit of an enterprising lot,

I am the charismatic spirit that prevails in extenuating circumstances,

I am the Monolith that have survived imperial vestiges,

I am Naija!

I am the colours of ten thousand festivals ,

I am the varieties of flora and fauna in the rain forests,

I am the hills and the mountains by the country side,

I am the exuberant movies, music and voices of charismatic demagogues ,

I am Naija!

I am the endless stretch of arable land ,

I am the precious metals in mountainous zones,

I am the lush and green trees in the savannah,

I am the panaromic beaches of the Atlantic,

The suave and smooth terrain of the Sahara,

I am the round leather legends of the Eagles and the Falcons,

I am Laureates of Letters and Pen Divas of the Orange Prize and more ,

I am the soothing views of the Plateau,

The unfathomable mysteries of varied waterfalls,

I am the pyramid in Kano and Silos in Lagos ,

I am a “rustic splash of rust and gold “,

I am the Oasis in the desert,

I am the archipelagoes and peninsulas,

I am the giant in the sun,

I am the viable Black Power,

I am Naija!
