Afrobeat singer Davido has expressed dissatisfaction about Senator Francis Fadahunsi following a statement he allegedly made urging supporters to kill members of the Accord Party.
In a video shared by the singer, Fadahunsi, speaking in the Yoruba language, authorised the public to kill Accord members, noting how they have wives and children too. He said even if the Accord members come with their voter’s card on election day, they won’t be allowed to vote.
He was quoted as saying, “From now on, whenever you see Accord members, kill them. I authorise you to kill them. They have wives and children too.
This is a Federal Government election. On election day, even if they come with a voter’s card, we won’t allow them to vote”.
Reacting to it, Davido expressed disappointment at how a whole senator is trying to invite attacks and divide people.
For some days now, the singer has been active on social media against his uncle’s opponents.
Hours ago, while reacting to a video of the Ooni of Ife commending his uncle, Governor Adeleke, Davido said that the APC is backward and questioned why they are trying to stop progress in the state.
