Pastor Chris declares what his ‘net worth’ truly is

Founder of LoveWorld Incorporated, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, has declared what he calls his true “net worth” during his ongoing Rhapaton praying programme.

The popular televangelist dismissed what he described as the “message of poverty,” insisting that the gospel of Christ is not about lack but about wealth and inheritance.

Quoting 2 Corinthians 8:9, he said:

“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.”

Pastor Chris stressed that the verse was not about spiritual riches but about financial blessings.

“Jesus had the treasure and was poor, for your sake, He laid all that down, for one purpose—that you might be rich. For those who don’t want to be rich, then they’ve chosen not to be born again, because to be born again means to be an heir of the kingdom,” he said.

Responding to those curious about his personal fortune, he dismissed attempts to tie his wealth to earthly figures or bank balances.

“Really? Really? How do you want to find out? You want to find out about the bank and all that stuff? Oh no! Oh, a thousand times no. There’s a kind of wealth, there’s a level of riches that you cannot quantify with your Japanese calculator. If you want me to show it to you, I can show you where I operate from,” he declared.

The cleric recalled a remark once made by his younger daughter:

“She would say there are only two people I know that are rich in this world—God and Pastor Chris.”

Citing Ephesians 3:8 (AMPC), Pastor Chris then announced what he regards as his “net worth.”

“That is where I operate from. That is my net worth,” he said.

He maintained that true wealth for a believer is not measurable by earthly standards but by the “unsearchable riches of Christ.”
