Man United may snub Osimhen for exciting Muani
English giants, Manchester United, are reportedly set to snub Nigeria international striker Victor Osimhen in the summer with major news outlet claiming Dutch coach Erik ten Haag now favourably disposed to having exciting France striker Randal Kolo Muani at Old Trafford.
London tabloid The Sun claimed Manchester United are pushing hard to sign £105million-rated Muani ahead of next season despite a star-studded shortlist that includes England captain Harry Kane and Osimhen.
Ditto Sky Germany reported that the Red Devils are eager to sign Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt amid interest for the former Nantes striker from the quartet of Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Tottenham
Quoting Florian Plettenberg, the reporter attached to bei Sky Sport News , The Sun added:
“ The Red Devils consider Kolo Muani an even higher priority than Napoli hot-shot Osimhen. The 6ft 2in ace hails from Parisian suburb Bondy, the same hometown as Kylian Mbappe and William Saliba. He has scored 13 Bundesliga goals this season, as well as a further two in the Champions League.”
Meanwhile, Napoli are on the brink of claiming their first Serie A title in 33 years despite failing to win at home last weekend, and they may not even have to play to get their hands on the Scudetto today and kick off a long-awaited party in Naples.
The Luciano Spalletti –led side are 18 points ahead with only six games left to play, and they will be crowned champions if second-placed Lazio fail to beat Sassuolo at the Stadio Olimpico today, a day before Napoli themselves play away at Udinese.
