Okphebholo Inauguration Committee prepares for best show in November 12.

Committee set up for the inauguration of Senator Monday Okpebholo as the governor of Edo State has promised to put up a first-class show for the event billed to hold on November 12, 2024.

Chairman of the inauguration committee, Gen Cecil Eseikhaigbe (rtd), disclosed this during an inaugural meeting of the 2024 Edo All Progressives Congress Inauguration Planning Committee for Governor-Elect Senator Monday Okpebholo.

Tbis is contained in a statement released by Comrade Orobosa Omo-Ojo, Chairman of the Media and Publicity of the Inauguration Committee.

Eseikhaigbe urged members to ensure a first class programme that will reflect the “Rise of a New Edo State, full of opportunities and possibilities.”

According to the release, Gen Eseikhaigbe promised that the committee would be driven by the desire of the Governor-Elect, Senator Monday Okpebholo to arrest the present drift in the state and reposition it for measurable growth.

He emphasised that Okpebholo’s mission is to achieve economic prosperity for Edo people through efficient and even distribution of resources.

He added that the state is blessed with a resilient and determined people as exemplified by the array of talents.
