Preparations have been finalized for Epic Fashion Week 2026, one of Nigeria’s anticipated style and creative industry gatherings, scheduled to take place from May 22 to 24 at The Podium.
Organisers announced that more than 50 designers from across Nigeria are expected to participate in this year’s edition, presenting collections that highlight emerging fashion trends, contemporary African aesthetics, and innovative local craftsmanship.
The three-day event will feature runway shows, fashion exhibitions, networking sessions, brand activations, and industry discussions aimed at connecting designers with buyers, investors, media personalities, and fashion enthusiasts.
According to the organisers, the 2026 edition will place special emphasis on youth-driven creativity, sustainable fashion, and the growing influence of Nigerian streetwear and luxury fashion within global markets.
Fashion industry stakeholders say the event reflects the continued expansion of Lagos as a major African fashion hub, with local designers increasingly gaining international recognition through digital platforms, celebrity collaborations, and export opportunities.
Epic Fashion Week is also expected to provide opportunities for emerging talents to gain visibility alongside established brands, further strengthening Nigeria’s position in Africa’s rapidly evolving creative economy.
