Nigeria is set to host a major convergence of global agro-industry stakeholders as the Agrofood Nigeria 2026 returns to the Landmark Centre from March 24 to 26, bringing renewed focus to food security, innovation, and sustainable agricultural practices.
Organisers confirmed that this year’s edition will feature the Netherlands as the official guest of honor, with a strong delegation showcasing advanced technologies aimed at improving cold-chain logistics and modern food packaging systems.
These solutions are expected to address Nigeria’s persistent post-harvest losses, which experts say significantly impact food availability and pricing. “The participation of the Netherlands highlights the importance of international collaboration in tackling food inefficiencies,” an event coordinator said.
The exhibition will host a wide range of local and international companies across the agriculture, food processing, packaging, and hospitality sectors, providing a platform for business networking, knowledge exchange, and investment opportunities.
