Alia At 58, Free Medical Outreach As Benue APC Felicitates On His Birthday
The medical sub-committee of the 58th birthday anniversary celebration of Governor Hyacinth Alia, in conjunction with the Benue State University Teaching Hospital, Makurdi, is offering free medical outreach to members of the general public.
Services will include free medical consultation to members of the public; minor surgeries such as herniorrhaphy, appendectomy and lipectomy.
Others are medical screening tests, free donation of wheel chairs, hearing aids and walking sticks for the blinds on first come-serve bases.
According to the release, Friday, May 17, 2024, by 9:00 am, will be the start of time, listing Mohammadu Buhari mother and child health center, along David Mark bypass Makurdi, as the venue for the excercise.
Meanwhile, the All Progressives Congress, (APC), Benue Chapter, joins the rest of the people of the State in felicitating with His Excellency, Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, on the occasion of his birthday celebration.
The party views the Governor as a man, who may not be perfect but is surely a work in progress.
“The Governor is someone, who embodies the APC spirit of service delivery and must stand firm against injustice, abuse of processes, violation of rules, divisiveness, suppression, and anti-democratic tendencies in Benue State and Nigeria at large.”
In a statement by it’s Publicity Secretary, Daniel Ihyomun, it noted that over the years, as a parish priest on so many missions, Governor Alia, has distinguished himself as a relentless frontrunner in the quest for the love, unity, stability and development of the church and Benue state and is hopeful that, Governor Alia will continue on this path with this virtue as governor of Benue State.
The party therefore, heartily congratulates Governor Alia, on his day and prays to God to bless him with many more years in good health in the service of our dear Benue State.
Also, the Deputy Governor, Dr Sam Odeh, sent a message of felicitation to Governor Alia on the occasion of his birthday celebration anniversary.
He described the Governor as someone of impeccable quality out to serve the state and prayed God to grant him wisdom and sound health to pilot the affairs of the state to greater height.
