Our nature and nurture combine to form our personality. Barrister Morayo Lebi usually attributes his generosity to both his nature,( that is, his God given heart that is ever willing to render assistance) and, his upbringing as the child of parents already in the twilight of their years when he was born.
For some years now, in order to lessen the burden of the old people, Barrister Lebi kicked off what he called ” EMPOWERMENT OF THE AGED PERSON _75YRS AND ABOVE), at Akotogbo, where they are receiving monthly allowance.
Also, during the lockdown in 2020 that was occasioned by the Covid-19 pandemic, Barr Morayo Lebi gave #5000 each to several people as palliative.
Payment of school fees to several students in both secondary and tertiary institutions. He regularly organises football competition for the youths where awards are given thereby encouraging grassroots sports development.
Operational Vehicle was bought for police at Akotogbo when robbers were terrorising people.
Donated cash to Irele local government Chairman during the lockdown for additional palliative to the poor.
In addition, as the President of Akotogbo Development Association (ADA), BML helped to facilitate the following:
1) Divisional Police headquarters at Akotogbo
2) The Irele local government divisional Police marine headquarters at Akotogbo
3) The Nigerian Navy operational unit at Akotogbo
4) Chief Magistrate Court at Akotogbo that serves other communities like Ijuosun, Iyansan, Barogbo etc
5) Donations to the reconstruction of Okitipupa local governments burnt secretariats
Some have been given seed capital for business, some got jobs, some buses for transportation business etc.
Indeed, Barr Morayo Lebi is the voice of the voiceless, eyes to the blind and legs to the lame.
