Eniola Badmus expresses desire during ‘Feed The Needy’ outreach program in Lagos
Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has displayed a deeply vulnerable side on Thursday as she broke down in tears during a public appearance, expressing her emotional longing to become a mother.
The 42-year-old actress, known for her personality and remarkable career, made the emotional appeal during a ‘Feed The Needy’ outreach program held at Temidire Primary School, Shogunle, Oshodi.
The initiative, organized in collaboration with Seyi Tinubu, aimed to support underserved communities in Lagos.
In a now-viral video from the event, Eniola tearfully addressed the crowd, urging them to include her in their prayers as she awaits the blessing of children. “Please always mention me, Eniola Badmus, in your prayers. I’m waiting upon the Lord for children. With your prayers and God by my side, I will continue to serve you and work towards a brighter future for our community,” she said.
The actress, who also serves as Special Adviser to the Speaker of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Tajudeen Abass, expressed gratitude to her supporters while reflecting on her roots in the Shogunle community.

Eniola took a moment to pay tribute to her late father, Mr. Badmus, a two-time counselor in Shogunle, who passed away seven years ago. She requested a minute of silence in his honour, stating, “My father instilled in me a deep love for our people and the importance of service. No matter how far I go, my heart belongs here in Shogunle.”
The actress reaffirmed her commitment to the community, promising never to abandon her roots. “I am yours, Shogunle; I am yours, now and always,” she declared, drawing cheers from the crowd.
Despite her public persona, Eniola has been cautious about revealing details of her personal life. In a 2016 interview, she shared that she was in a relationship but declined to elaborate, stressing her desire to approach marriage thoughtfully.
Over the years, she has debunked rumours linking her to rapper Iceberg Slim and singer Davido, as well as clarifying a circulated fake wedding photo in 2015.
